West Bengal Minister Sankar Ghosh said the state government will introduce the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill in the Assembly on Monday, describing it as a historic reform.

The West Bengal government will table the Uniform Civil Code Bill on June 29 in the Assembly. If passed, the state will become the fourth in India to implement the UCC.
