Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Praises PM Modi’s 25 Years
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public office while participating in the Seva Jyoti Yatra programme in Uttarkashi. Dhami described the yatra as a symbol of public service, patriotism and commitment to people’s welfare.
Dhami was in Uttarkashi to participate in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha and Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra organised at Ramleela Maidan under the Seva Sankalp campaign. Earlier, he visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Maa Shakti Temple.
Dhami Marks PM Modi’s 25 Years in Public Office
Speaking at the programme, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said the day marked 25 years of Prime Minister Modi’s service in public office.
Dhami said:
“Today marks the completion of 25 years of service to the nation by our country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
He added that the Seva Jyoti Yatra was more than a commemorative journey and represented what he described as a larger commitment to public service, patriotism and welfare.

‘Seva Jyoti Yatra Is No Ordinary Journey’
Dhami said:
“The 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' being organised to commemorate this historic occasion is no ordinary journey; it symbolizes the grand resolve of public service, patriotism, and the welfare of the people.”
The Uttarakhand Chief Minister linked the programme with the broader Seva Sankalp campaign, which has included public-service activities across the state. Dhami had earlier participated in a cleanliness programme at Nanakmatta as part of the campaign and referred there as well to Modi’s 25 years in public office.
Dhami Highlights ‘Nation First’ Approach
Dhami said Prime Minister Modi had worked continuously with a “Nation First” approach.
According to him, Modi’s focus had remained on ensuring that the benefits of development reached people at the lowest levels of society.
He said:
“His vision has always been clear: the fruits of development must reach the person standing at the very last rung of society.”
‘Governance Taken to People’s Doorsteps’
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also spoke about the Prime Minister’s governance approach, saying development should not remain limited to government offices or administrative processes.
Dhami said:
“PM Modi has not confined governance merely to government offices and files; instead, he has taken it right to people's doorsteps.”
His remarks formed part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha and Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra programme in Uttarkashi.
Seva Sankalp Campaign Continues in Uttarakhand
The Uttarkashi programme is part of the broader Seva Sankalp campaign being organised around the milestone of Modi’s 25 years in public office.
Through his address, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasised themes of public service, welfare delivery, national development and taking government initiatives closer to citizens.
