Prime Minister Le Minh Hung of Vietnam arrived in New Delhi to attend the 18th BRICS Summit, receiving a warm welcome from India. He was received at the airport by Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol.

India and Vietnam share an Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, built on longstanding bonds of friendship, mutual trust and cooperation. The partnership has expanded across key areas, including defence and security, fintech, critical minerals and other emerging sectors.
The two countries continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation while working closely on shared priorities at multilateral forums. Prime Minister Hungβs participation in the BRICS Summit is expected to further contribute to discussions on cooperation, development and shared interests among countries of the Global South.
