The meeting focused on expanding bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including economic ties, defence and security. The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation and strengthening the longstanding partnership between India and Ethiopia.

Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also reiterated their shared voice on issues concerning the Global South, underscoring the importance of greater cooperation and representation for developing countries in global affairs.
