Yogandhra 2026 Earns World Book of Records Recognition

Andhra Pradesh’s flagship mass yoga campaign, Yogandhra 2026, has received international recognition from the World Book of Records for its exceptional public participation and successful promotion of yoga across the state.

The official certificate was presented to N. Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada by Dr. Ullaji Eliazer, Joint Secretary (South Region) of the World Book of Records. The recognition highlights Andhra Pradesh’s efforts to make yoga a people’s movement and encourage healthy living on a massive scale.

The state had initially set a target of engaging 1.05 crore yoga enthusiasts through Yogandhra 2026. However, the initiative exceeded expectations, with more than 1.07 crore registrations, marking a significant milestone and reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s position as a leader in promoting wellness and holistic health through yoga.
