Cerundolo battled for more than three hours to secure his fifth ATP Tour title and his first-ever ATP 500 crown. The world No. 27 showed remarkable composure after missing three match points on Paul’s serve at 5-2 in the deciding set before eventually sealing a memorable victory. The contest became the longest Queen’s Club final since the epic showdown between Marin Cilic and Novak Djokovic in 2018.

The triumph was especially emotional for Cerundolo, whose parents had traveled from Argentina to watch him compete in the United Kingdom for the first time. Following the match, the Argentine dedicated the title to his father on Father’s Day, describing the week as one in which he felt completely at home and thanking his family for their support during a landmark moment in his career
