After sending his resignation letter to Chief minister Mamata Banerjee, He visited Governor’s house on Friday afternoon. Rajib met with Governor Jagdeep Dhankar and had a chat. Later Jagdeep Dhankar shared some moments of their meeting and wrote on twitter,” It being the first visit of Shri Rajib Banerjee the Minister for Forest Affairs @MamataOfficial during my tenure as Governor we spent time in exchange of ideas. Shri Rajib Banerjee, Minister for Forest Affairs @MamataOfficial called on me and handed over a letter of resignation from the Council of Ministers. He was indicated that steps in accordance with the constitution would be taken”.
