BJP National President J P Nadda on Thursday launched ‘Lokkho Sonar Bangla’ manifesto crowdsourcing campaign to seek suggestions from more than two crore people in West Bengal ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.. As he promised to restore the pride of Bengal, the BJP National President launched an all-out attack against the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government.
“We will give Bengal a new culture. No cut money, corruption-mukt, vikas yukt. The BJP will stop illegal coal mining. We are all emotionally involved with Bengal’s culture,” the BJP National President said.
As he launched the ‘Lokkho Sonar Bangla’ mission, JP Nadda said the party will accept over two crore suggestions from people. “We’ll make available approx 30,000 suggestion boxes across Bengal. Around 100 boxes will be kept in 294 assembly constituencies. Our workers will go from door to door with 50 boxes and 50 will be placed at strategic locations,” the BJP National President said.
The ‘Lokkho Sonar Bangla’ campaign in Bengal will be conducted from March 3 till March 20, the BJP National President said. JP Nadda added that LED raths will be launched for constituencies for digital feedback.
“We’re making efforts to work towards making ‘Sonar Bangla’, with the inclusion of contributions of Swami Vivekanand, Rabindranath Tagore, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar in prestigious history of WB,” the BJP National President .
“PM has said that we will provide the previous installments and when our govt is formed in Bengal, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi will be launched here and 73 lakh farmers of the state will be benefitted,” JP Nadda said .
Targeting the Mamata Banerjee government in Bengal, JP Nadda said 11 crore toilets have been made in India and only 1.5 crore in Bengal. “Shows empowerment of women,” the BJP National President said.
“Dengue had spread here .The state govt wasn’t providing us reports on dengue. People were dying here and as the then Health Minister I used to ask Mamataji to give me reporting of dengue. She used to threaten the doctors that no reporting has to be done,” JP Nadda alleged.
