Omar Abdullah Remembers Pahalgam Victims, Vows Fight Against Terror in J&K

Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah paid tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, reaffirming the region’s collective resolve against terrorism and violence.

In a message shared on social media, Abdullah said, “One year on, we remain united against terror & against violence. We remain resolute in our desire to rid J&K of suffering & innocent deaths.”

He emphasized that the government remains committed to ensuring such tragedies never happen again, while standing in unwavering solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones in the attack.

“We also remain in eternal solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones a year ago in that cowardly attack. May the souls of the victims rest in peace,” he added.

The Pahalgam terror attack, which took place in Jammu and Kashmir, claimed multiple innocent lives and triggered nationwide grief. On its anniversary, leaders across the country have paid homage to the victims and reiterated their commitment to eliminating terrorism.

Abdullah’s message underscores the continued focus on restoring peace, stability, and security in Jammu and Kashmir, while honoring the memory of those who lost their lives.
