BJP Alleges Impersonation by TMC Workers in West Bengal, Warns of Strict Legal Action

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal has issued a strong statement alleging that certain elements linked to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) are attempting to impersonate BJP workers to mislead the public and create unrest.

In its official communication, the BJP claimed that members of what it described as the TMC’s “so-called Gunda Vahini” are engaging in deceptive practices aimed at spreading confusion and disorder among citizens.

BJP accuses Trinamool Congress-linked elements of impersonating party workers in West Bengal, warns of strict legal action and vows to restore law and order.

The party made its position clear, stating:
“It has come to our notice that elements of the Trinamool’s so-called ‘Gunda Vahini’ are attempting to impersonate BJP workers to mislead people and create disorder.”

The BJP further emphasized that it will adopt a zero-tolerance approach toward such actions, warning that strict legal measures will be taken against anyone involved in impersonation, intimidation, or unlawful activities.

“Let it be stated unequivocally: the BJP will not tolerate such deception. Anyone found engaging in impersonation, intimidation, or taking the law into their own hands will face strict legal consequences,” the statement added.
Reaffirming its governance stance, the party said that the incoming administration is committed to restoring law and order across the state.

“The full force of the law will be brought to bear against these criminal elements. The incoming government is committed to restoring rule of law, ensuring accountability, and protecting every citizen without fear or favour.”
The development comes amid heightened political tensions in the state, with both major parties trading allegations over law and order concerns.
