The meeting reviewed the ongoing momentum in India-China bilateral relations, with both sides noting the importance of the directions and vision provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the discussions focused on ways to further expand bilateral cooperation while maintaining stability and ensuring peace and tranquillity in the border areas.
Doval and Wang Yi also discussed making progress on boundary delimitation while continuing ongoing efforts on transboundary cooperation.
