Megastar labels yesterday’s news as fake
All through yesterday afternoon, the news of Amitabh Bachchan having undergone an angioplasty in the leg at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai was trending. Today, the megastar himself has refuted the recent reports claiming his hospitalisation and angioplasty, labeling them as ‘fake’.
“He underwent an angioplasty, but there is still no confirmation regarding his health update. His PR team is likely to give out the details in the afternoon,” the sources had said.
However, there’s a new video that is doing rounds on the social media, shows Big B smiling and greeting paparazzi as he attends the final match of Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) between Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata in Mumbai.
Amitabh is seen wearing a white hoodie and black trousers. He was there to support his team ‘Majhi Mumbai’.
The visuals show the 81-year-old actor talking to photographers, saying, “I am all fit… fake news.”

Earlier, he had shared in his Instagram a photograph with his son Abhishek Bachchan and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. The trio are engrossed in a conversation in the photograph.
Amitabh Bachchan captioned it, “What a humbling experience this evening at the ISPL FINALS, to have spent time with the GREAT SACHIN.. and to learn and admire his incredible knowledge about cricket.”
Veteran actress Ila Arun commented on the post, “Wow, you are full of life long live Amit ji.”
