Amul Joins as Official Partner of Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games
Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), popularly known as Amul, has been announced as an Official Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. The Indian dairy giant will also serve as the Presenting Partner for the Weightlifting, Para Powerlifting and Boxing competitions.
In addition to its Games partnership, Amul has become an Official Supporter of Commonwealth Sport, strengthening its commitment to promoting sports and athlete nutrition on the global stage.
Through the partnership, Amul aims to reinforce its message that milk and dairy products are a natural source of energy and nutrition for athletes. The cooperative promotes milk as "The World's Original Energy Drink."
Recognised as the world's largest farmer-owned dairy cooperative, Amul represents 3.6 million farmers and was ranked the world's leading cooperative in the International Cooperative Alliance's World Cooperative Monitor 2025. The cooperative collects approximately 32 million litres of milk every day.
At the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, the Para Powerlifting competition will be held on 24 July, Weightlifting will run from 26–30 July, while Boxing is scheduled from 24 July to 1 August.
Amul's association with Glasgow 2026 marks another significant milestone for Indian brands on the international sporting stage, highlighting the country's growing presence in global sports partnerships.
