Austria Chancellor Christian Stocker to Visit India from April 14–17, 2026 with High-Level Delegation

At the invitation of Narendra Modi, Austria’s Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker will undertake an official visit to India from April 14 to 17, 2026, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. Chancellor Stocker will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Federal Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer, along with senior officials and prominent business leaders. This marks Chancellor Stocker’s first official visit to India, and notably, his first visit to Asia since assuming office. The visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral ties between India and Austria, with a focus on trade, investment, energy cooperation, and tourism.
