On Saturday, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 75 runs at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune in Match 53 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season.
KKR were bowled out for 101 in 14.3 overs while chasing a 177-run mark. Russell was in fantastic batting form, scoring 45 runs off 19 balls, but he couldn’t save the game.
LSG’s bowling attack was led by Avesh Khan and Jason Holder, who both took three wickets. Earlier, Quinton de Kock’s 50-run knock off 29 balls helped LSG score 176 for seven in 20 overs.

Russell was also in fine form, taking two wickets for KKR.
