Nitin Nabin Calls Rahul Gandhi a 'Symbol of Anarchy'

BJP President Nitin Nabin launched a sharp attack on Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi over the Congress-led protest near Lok Kalyan Marg (LKM), calling his conduct "unbecoming" and "condemnable."

Addressing the media, Nabin alleged that Rahul Gandhi's actions reflected a disregard for the dignity of the office of the Leader of the Opposition. He claimed the Congress leader was becoming a "symbol of anarchy" and accused him of attempting to create disorder during the protest near the Prime Minister's residence.

The BJP leader said that constitutional offices, including that of the Prime Minister, represent the people of India rather than any single political party. According to him, the Congress protest crossed the boundaries of democratic dissent and amounted to an attempt to undermine parliamentary decorum.

Nabin also expressed concern over the participation of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, describing the incident as a "dark day" in India's political history. He said that despite serving in the Opposition for many years, BJP leaders had never crossed such limits.

He further claimed that the government had accepted conditions put forward by Rahul Gandhi for discussions, but alleged that the Congress leader later withdrew from the agreed process. Reiterating the BJP's stand, Nabin said the government remains open to discussions on the floor of Parliament while urging the Opposition to uphold democratic norms and parliamentary traditions.

The remarks come amid heightened political tensions between the BJP and the Congress over recent protests and parliamentary proceedings.
