BTS to Stream ‘Arirang Busan’ Concert in Indian Theatres on June 13: Here’s Where Desi ARMY Can Watch
BTS return to Busan for emotional anniversary concert
Global K-pop sensation BTS are returning to the iconic Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 13 for a massive anniversary concert that will be livestreamed in cinemas worldwide.
The concert marks the group’s return to the same venue where they last performed together before pausing activities for South Korea’s mandatory military service nearly three years and eight months ago. The emotional reunion has already generated excitement among ARMY worldwide.
Where to watch BTS Busan concert live in India
Indian fans can watch the live screening of the BTS Busan concert through selected theatres operated by PVR INOX Cinemas.
PVR INOX has confirmed that the June 13 concert will stream live in cinemas across multiple Indian cities. Official ticket booking details, theatre locations and screening timings are expected to be announced closer to the concert date.
The screenings are expected to witness huge demand, similar to previous BTS live events that sold out rapidly across India.
BTS ARIRANG World Tour reaches global scale
The Busan concert is part of BTS’s ongoing ARIRANG World Tour, currently spanning 34 cities and 85 performances worldwide.
The tour has already attracted global attention with concerts in Goyang and Tokyo drawing millions of viewers through livestreams and theatre screenings. Several performances were also streamed globally through Netflix.
Earlier this year, more than 200,000 fans reportedly gathered near Gwanghwamun Square during BTS’s comeback celebrations in Seoul.
Busan concert to feature immersive 360-degree stage
BTS will once again perform on a signature 360-degree stage setup designed to create an immersive stadium experience.
Unlike traditional concert stages, the in-the-round production places the members at the centre of the audience, allowing fans from every angle to enjoy the performance. The production has also been specially designed for cinema screenings worldwide.
ARIRANG album continues dominating charts
The concert announcement comes during a major success period for BTS’s fifth studio album, ARIRANG.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after recording one of the biggest opening weeks for a group album this year.
Its lead single, SWIM, continues performing strongly across global streaming and radio charts.
The emotional meaning behind ARIRANG
The album title ARIRANG is inspired by the traditional Korean folk song associated with longing, reunion and healing. The concept reflects BTS’s own journey as the members reunited after temporarily stepping away from group activities.
Released on March 20, the album explores themes of identity, distance, reconnection and hope through 14 tracks that have already become fan favourites online.
