CM Devendra Fadnavis Launches Navi Mumbai Projects

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated key connectivity projects in Navi Mumbai and initiated development works in the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA). The programme also included the distribution of property cards to landholders, marking an important step towards infrastructure development and land-related documentation in the region.

The Chief Minister performed the bhoomipujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for various infrastructure projects under NAINA Town Planning Schemes (TPS). He also inaugurated three significant connectivity projects surrounding the Navi Mumbai International Airport — SBR-9 (Stilt Bridge), BR-4 and BR-5 — along with the Uran Bypass Bridge. These projects are aimed at strengthening regional connectivity and supporting the growing infrastructure needs of Navi Mumbai and its surrounding areas.

Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Ajit Pawar, Minister Bharat Gogawale, MP Sunil Tatkare, MP Shrirang Appa Barne, members of the Maharashtra legislature and other dignitaries attended the programme.

The development initiatives are part of the broader infrastructure push in the Navi Mumbai region, where improved road connectivity and planned urban development are crucial to supporting the growth of the airport influence zone.
