Centre Holds Talks with Cockroach Janta Party Representatives
The meeting took place at VP House in New Delhi, where Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and J.P. Nadda represented the Central Government. The Cockroach Janta Party delegation comprised spokespersons Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka.

Sources said the government briefed the delegation on the steps already taken regarding the alleged NEET paper leak and outlined additional measures under consideration. These reportedly included legal reforms, fast-track courts for paper leak cases, and stricter action against those responsible for examination fraud.

The delegation, in turn, reiterated its key demands, including accountability for the examination controversy and action against those responsible.

Dharmendra Pradhan's Resignation Remains the Main Sticking Point

Protest Leaders Threaten Larger Nationwide Agitation
Following the discussions, Cockroach Janta Party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said the Centre had shown moral agreement with some of the organisation's demands but had not committed to removing the Education Minister.

He stated that if Dharmendra Pradhan does not resign within the next one or two days, the organisation will launch a much larger nationwide protest movement.

According to the group, the agitation will expand beyond Delhi and involve demonstrations across several states.
