Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo has been named as the Premier League’s Player of the Month for April 2022.
It’s the second time CR7 has won the Premier League accolade since he returned to English football in the summer, as he also came out on top in September.
Cristiano Ronaldo has now won six Premier League Player of the Month awards in total, placing him level with Steven Gerrard and behind only Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane on the all-time list.
37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has won the same amount of Premier League POTM awards as Mo Salah, Harry Kane and Kevin De Bruyne combined this season.
Cristiano Ronaldo shared his emotional message,he said ,”My 2nd Premier League Player Of The Month Award, the 6th in my career. I’m as happy to win today as I was in my early days, the hunger for victory and achievements never fades away. Thanks to everyone that made this possible.”
