Dakshineswar Bhabatarini temple was empty on 1st January

The entire courtyard of Dakshineswar Bhabatarini temple was empty on 1st January on the eve of Kalpataru utsab. The temple authorities restricted the entry of the crowd into the temple complex due to Covid pandemic.

 

The devotees weren’t allowed to enter the temple to curb the infection of pandemic situation. As the Dakshineswar temple is overcrowded by the lakhs of people on the day of Kalpataru Utsab, that’s why the temple authorities took the decision to close the temple today to avoid the huge gathering during the pandemic situation. After the improvement of the ongoing situation, the the temple would be reopened after being granted permission from administration. Though the regular worship is still on, but the entry of devotees will be strictly prohibited till then.
