According to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Dinesh Arya formally submitted his nomination papers today. Dhami thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP national president and the party high command for choosing Arya to represent Uttarakhand in the Rajya Sabha.
The Uttarakhand Chief Minister highlighted Arya's humble background and his long association with the BJP, saying that he had served the party and the state in several capacities.
