Dream Debut for Manav Suthar as India Register Record Win Over Afghanistan

India registered a historic innings and 300-run victory over Afghanistan in the one-off Test at Mullanpur, with young left-arm spinner Manav Suthar emerging as the biggest positive for the hosts.

Making his Test debut, Suthar produced a sensational performance, claiming 6 wickets for 33 runs in Afghanistan’s first innings as the visitors were bowled out for just 152. His impressive spell highlighted his potential as a future leader of India's spin attack.

Afghanistan's troubles deepened in the second innings as they were bundled out for 112 in 35.5 overs on the third day. Washington Sundar starred with figures of 4/36, while Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with 3/30 to seal India's biggest-ever innings victory.

The dominant win underlined India's depth in spin bowling, with Suthar's dream debut becoming the standout story of the match. His remarkable performance has strengthened his case for a regular place in India's Test setup as the team continues to build for the future.

India's commanding display also showcased their superiority in home conditions, completing a comprehensive triumph against the Afghan side.
