Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Thakurnagar on Thursday. From the rally he assured people of Thakur Nagar of citizenship. He addressed the people of Thakurnagar from the rally.
He said from the rally,” I beleive in keeping promise. I do what I say. We have made CAA. I promise you, as soon as the Vaccination process ends. Aa soon as the Covid19 situation is over, I will give citizenship to you all”.
Amit Shah added,” You can’t stop us. Mamata Banerjee will not remain chief minister after April. Will you allow her to stay as Chief minister? All the opponents use minorities. I promise to muslim brothers and sisters, your citizenship will not go. The law is to give citizenship to all”.
He added,”I promise you that there is nothing in CAA to deprive muslim brothers from citizenship. This is for them who are here for 70 years. But haven’t got citizenship yet. Keep faith on us. This CAA is for your benifit”.
