Big setback for West Bengal government in High court. Kolkata high court on Monday gave stay order in recruitment process of primary teacher. Since last couple of months, opposition were challenging the recruitment process of Primary teacher. After the stay on Monday by single bench, primary education board has decided to move to division bench.
Already many of them has received appointment documents. In this scenario how can those documents be withdrawn? Last year on 23rd December, State primary education board announced notification for appointment of primary teachers in 16,500 vacant post. Teacher’s eligibility test was also taken at the end of January. But the decision of high court has came as a setback for state.
Though opposition leader, including Suvendu Adhikary alleged of corruption in the recruitment process. They said, the jobs is being given after receiving money. In many cases, relatives of Trinamool leaders have received the job. Even their car drivers family members are getting the jobs.
