Dhoni Is Fit Once More To Lead CSK in 2024
Another season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) is just around the corner. Quite naturally, speculations have once begun regarding MS Dhoni’s retirement date. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper played with a knee injury last season but vowed to come back if fit. His fans collective prayers have been answered, MS Dhoni’s rehabilitation has gone positively, so he will once again be seen leading the Yellow Army as they go in to battle for a record sixth title.
Recently, MS Dhoni’s close friend has now hinted on his tentative retirement date – news that will definitely make MSD and CSK fans very happy.
In an exclusive interview with OneCricket, Paramjit Singh, childhood friend of MS Dhoni has revealed that CSK skipper may play or two more seasons. The 2024 edition is certainly not likely to be his last IPL given the fact that he remains in good physique. Singh was questioned about Dhoni’s IPL future and if the upcoming 2024 season would be his final one. In response, he responded that he believes that Dhoni is unlikely to retire from IPL after this season, given his excellent fitness level and even suggested that he could continue playing for one or two more seasons.
“Mujhe nahi lagta yeh last season hoga. Dhoni abhi bhi fit hain. 1-2 season aur khelega [I don’t think this is going to be his last season. He (Dhoni) is still very fit and I think he will play 1-2 seasons more],” said Paramjit Singh.

The CSK management has made some interesting buys in the IPL 2024 auction to fortify its squad for IPL 2024 even further. The team will once again look forward to Dhoni leading for a record sixth title. After all, he is not “Thala” for nothing!
