Brazilan superstar Neymar suffered ankle injury in match against Serbia.Brazil’s medical team have confirmed that Neymar will miss the next game against Switzerland .Brazil in search of a record-extending sixth World Cup Trophy.
The Brazilian football association (CBF) have confirmed that the ankle injury suffered by Neymar will rule out of the country’s next match against Switzerland in a top-of-the-table Group G clash.
Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar confirmed the news on Friday 25 November, the day after Brazil defeated Serbia 2-0.
Neymar said the injury was one of the hardest moments of his career, having also got injured during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. But he was hopeful of recovering in time to feature in the latter stages of the tournament.
““Today is turning into one of the most difficult moments of my career… And again in a World Cup,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I have an injury, yes, it’s annoying, it’s going to hurt, but I’m sure I’ll have a chance to come back, because I’ll do my best to help my country, my teammates and myself.”
