Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal returned to the top of the table as substitute Reiss Nelson scored two goals in three second-half minutes and created another in a comfortable 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners took a fifth-minute lead when a cross from Bukayo Saka was headed in by Gabriel Martinelli.
Saka would later go off injured to be replaced by Nelson for his first Premier League appearance of the season.
Nelson then went on to net twice in quick succession shortly after the break.
He turned provider for Arsenal’s fourth, when he teed up Thomas Partey to send a stunning curling effort beyond Dean Henderson.
Martin Odegaard added a fifth on 78 minutes, as Arsenal moved two points above Manchester City. Forest remain bottom with nine points.

After the Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta said,”Great, really determined, really aggressive, really going for it with no hesitations this is what we wanted, we talked about it. We can have a result after the run that we were in, now it is about how we respond, we did it from the beginning in a really convincing way.”
