Former West Bengal government minister Rajib Banerjee goes to hospital to meet Arup Roy. Howrah’s heavyweight leader Arup Roy was hospitalised on Sunday with chest pain. A stent was operated in his body. On Monday, Rajib Banerjee his former compatriot and colleague went to see him at hospital. While leaving the hospital, Rajib Banerjee said, ” Arup Roy has admitted in hospital yesterday. I thought to came yesterday. But a stent was operated in his body. So I didn’t came yesterday. He is my old colleague. We worked for years together”.
Rajib Banerjee added,” In this tough time, we don’t think about party or politics. It was my duty to come to see him. I had chat with doctors, they assured me, he is completely fine now. Now wishing him speediest recovery.”.
