Supreme Court on Taj Mahal On Wednesday, a bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Abhay S Oak heard the petition of our heritage institution and Tajganj Welfare Foundation. The court has said that all the notices issued to the ADA will have to be withdrawn.

Agra, Jagran Correspondent. The Supreme Court has ordered in favor of the businessmen of Tajganj. The court has said that all the notices issued to the ADA will have to be withdrawn. A bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Abhay S Oak heard the petition filed by Hamari Dharohar Sanstha and Tajganj Welfare Foundation. The debate went on for about an hour. Petition No. 13381/1984, MC Mehta vs Union of India, was heard by adding to the PIL itself. The Supreme Court has sought the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) report.

The Supreme Court had on September 26, on a PIL filed by the Taj Mahal Western Gate Market Association, ordered a ban on commercial activities within 500 meters of the Taj Mahal. ADA had issued notices in compliance with the order.
