After winning the toss, India elected to bowl first, but the decision proved costly as England's batting lineup dominated from the outset. Opener Phil Salt led the charge with a brilliant 70 off 44 balls, smashing seven fours and three sixes to set the platform for a massive total.
Sam Curran added a valuable 41, while captain Jos Buttler contributed 36, helping England post an imposing 201/7 in their allotted 20 overs.
India's chase never gained momentum as the visitors suffered a dramatic batting collapse against England's relentless pace attack. Josh Tongue starred with outstanding figures of 4/28, while Jofra Archer tore through the middle order with 3/29 in three overs.
India were bowled out for just 76 in 11.4 overs, handing England a comprehensive 125-run victory and one of India's heaviest defeats in T20I cricket.
Jofra Archer was named Player of the Match for his match-winning spell of 3/29, which dismantled India's batting lineup. He also chipped in with an unbeaten five runs from two balls during England's innings.
With this emphatic win, England now hold a 2-0 advantage in the five-match T20I series and will look to continue their dominance in the remaining fixtures.
