India plays magnificently in day 5 of Sydney test to draw the match. India was in a struggling position at the start of the day with 2 wickets down. But Cheteshwar Pujara,Risabh Pant, Hanuma Vihari, Ravichandran Ashwin played their part to save the match. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 77 runs while Risabh Pant missed his century by just 3 runs. It was one of the classic innings by Pant ar day 5 of Sydney test. Later Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin did all right to stick to the wicket and kill the time. Though Vihari and Ashwin scored 23 & 39 runs, but most importantly the number of ball they played was very valuable. Hanuma Vihari played 161 balls while Ravichandran Ashwin played 128. That’s almost 48 overs. With injury concern of Jadeja, Vihari and Pant, the way India played, it was one of the greatest comeback for team India. The series level on 1-1. Fourth test will start on 15th January at Brisbane.
