Manchester United bounced back from two opening Premier League defeats with an excellent 2-1 win against rivals Liverpool.
Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford were on target as Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United clinched their first win of the season with a 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Liverpool’s first Premier League defeat of 2022, stretching back 21 matches.
After the match Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said ,”United were really aggressive in the beginning, which was clear but reality shows if you’re really ready but they were more ready than us and they scored. We controlled the game and passed the ball around the box but we conceded a second goal. It’s definitely not the result we wanted”
