Jaishankar, Ghana FM Discuss Expanding India-Ghana Ties
External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar held wide-ranging discussions with Ghanaโs Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, focusing on strengthening the Comprehensive Partnership between India and Ghana.

Sharing details of the meeting on social media, Jaishankar said India and Ghana, as partners of the Global South, share common development aspirations and a history of solidarity.
The discussions covered a broad range of areas, including trade, investments, development cooperation, pharmaceuticals, capacity building, defence, technology and people-to-people ties.
The two sides also discussed ways to advance multilateral cooperation and deepen Indiaโs engagement with the African Union (AU) and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Jaishankar highlighted the importance of further strengthening the India-Ghana partnership across multiple sectors, reflecting the growing cooperation between India and African nations.
