Jaishankar Meets Putin in Moscow, Delivers PM Modi’s Message

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Monday and conveyed a personal message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Jaishankar said he was pleased to call on President Putin and briefed him on the deliberations held under the 27th India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC).

The External Affairs Minister reviewed India-Russia cooperation across a wide range of areas and said he valued President Putin’s guidance on strengthening the bilateral partnership.

The meeting also covered regional and global issues of importance, highlighting the broader strategic engagement between India and Russia.
