Japan vs Croatia FIFA World Cup 2022: Japan faced Croatia in the Round of 16. The match was played at the Al Janoub Stadium in Qatar. Croatia beat Japan 3–1 in the penalty shootout. Japan’s Takuma Asano scored a goal to make it 2-1.
Croatia’s Marko Livaja then missed, brilliantly saved by Japanese goalkeeper Gonda.
Captain Maya Yoshida came to take the fourth shot from Japan, but her shot was also stopped by the Croatian goalkeeper.
After this, Mario Pasalich scored a goal to take his team to the next round.
