JP Nadda Accuses INDIA Bloc of Conspiracy to Create Anarchy
Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the INDIA bloc over its mega rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, alleging that the opposition alliance was attempting to create an atmosphere of anarchy in the country under the guise of defending democracy.
Reacting to the rally on November 1, Nadda termed it a "calculated conspiracy" and a "foolish, orchestrated drama" staged by opposition parties that had been repeatedly rejected by the people.
Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Nadda outlined what he described as four stages of the opposition's political strategy: spreading lies and rumours, inciting street-level unrest, damaging the country's economy, and attempting to destabilise an elected government at the behest of foreign powers.
Nadda further alleged that the INDIA bloc's November 1 rally had four specific objectives. These included hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community, triggering riots and chaos in Delhi to destabilise a democratically elected government, affecting the earnings of shopkeepers and traders during the festive season, and damaging India's international reputation.
He accused Rahul Gandhi and the opposition alliance of using the platform of democracy to pursue political objectives that, according to him, could undermine national stability.
The INDIA bloc's mega rally at Ramlila Maidan has drawn sharp political reactions, with Nadda's remarks adding to the escalating war of words between the ruling BJP and opposition parties.
