Kangana Ranaut Hits Back at Celebrities Over Comments About Her Character

BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut has launched a sharp attack on several celebrities and public figures over remarks directed at her, saying she will not tolerate personal comments or criticism that she considers abusive.

Ranaut named actor Ashutosh Rana, actor Sonu Sood, actor Rakhi Sawant and actress Taapsee Pannu while speaking about comments she says have targeted her personality, character, family and upbringing.

She questioned the relevance of her critics and said she would not pay attention to people whom she believes have not achieved comparable success in their own careers. Ranaut also alleged that some individuals make controversial remarks about her to attract media attention.

The BJP MP further criticised yoga guru Baba Ramdev, accusing him of crossing the boundaries of decency through comments about women. She said his remarks should prompt him to reconsider his perspective towards women.

Ranaut's comments add to her long-running public clashes with members of the film industry and other public figures. Her latest remarks are likely to trigger another round of debate on celebrity criticism, personal attacks and public discourse.
