Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar Praises Namma Metro as Bengaluru's Lifeline

Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Saturday shared his experience of traveling on Bengaluru's Namma Metro while heading to Kanakapura, emphasizing the crucial role of efficient public transportation in the daily lives of citizens.

Taking to social media, the Chief Minister said that sharing the journey with fellow Bengalureans reinforced the importance of safe, reliable, and affordable public transport. He noted that Namma Metro has become a key pillar in improving urban mobility and enhancing connectivity across Bengaluru.

During the metro ride, Shivakumar interacted with commuters and expressed gratitude for the smiles, conversations, and good wishes he received from fellow passengers. He highlighted that such interactions help public representatives stay connected with the aspirations and concerns of the people.
