lonely Jacqueline says ‘bhaad mein jaaye log’

The COVID-19 wreaked havoc on everyday life. Not only did the deadly illness keep us trapped in our homes for months, but it also had an impact on our employment and even our mental health. The scenario was the same for commoners and celebrities. While many individuals were concerned about their mental health during the COVID-19 epidemic, did you know that Jacqueline Fernandez had also sought care for her mental health?

She made the announcement during a recent appearance on a show alongside Shilpa Shetty. When asked about it, Jacqueline stated that it occurred in 2020, just after the virus reached the country. “A lot of us had no idea what was going on with them. People were practically yanked from a variety of situations. People were laid off. People had lost their tribes. I realised I was maybe experiencing some loneliness. You know, there are a lot of people who live alone in the city and don’t have family nearby.

So you essentially don’t have people to talk to, and it’s also in my mentality that I don’t enjoy bogging people down with my worries or difficulties. As a result, I don’t want to bring up topics that may appear gloomy or unpleasant to friends or family. I don’t enjoy it when they know I’m suffering, upset, or lonely. So, I did seek help”.

Jacqueline went on to say that she is grateful she sought treatment and went through therapy for a while. “It’s fantastic that individuals, even if they can’t go to treatment, can talk to someone they can trust.” Because I realised that most of the time in therapy, I was just talking, talking, and the therapist was just listening and asking me questions that made me wonder why I was feeling lonely or why I was feeling that way. People say therapy is pointless because they don’t know what they’re going to tell you, but it’s actually for your own self-reflection, which you don’t always have time for. And that was quite beneficial to me,” she continued.
