West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the Kolkata International Film festival virtually. On Friday, KIFF was innagurated by Chief minister from Nabanna. Though Coronavirus had hit hard in Film industry, but this year Kolkata International Film Festival will be organised like previous years despite of all odds. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan joined virtually While the innaguration. While innaguration of KIFF, Chief minister Mamata Banerjee said,” We are doing the festival like previous years. May be Covid 19 situation has hit hard but we will do the festival to our best. You all know Tollywood gives tough challenge to Bollywood and Hollywood. Shah Rukh has joined us. Due to Covid situation he is joining us virtually but he will have to come here in Rakhi”. SRK applauded Didi’s request and agreed to come in Bengal during Rakhi with gift also. He also praised the way organiser are organising the Film Festival.
