Mamata Banerjee Lists Governance Achievements, Emphasises Delivery Over Promises

Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Supremo Mamata Banerjee outlined a comprehensive list of development initiatives undertaken by the Maa-Mati-Manush government during a rally in Purbasthali Dakshin. Addressing the gathering, she highlighted key achievements across Purba Bardhaman and Nadia districts, emphasising the government’s focus on infrastructure, healthcare, heritage, and employment. Among the major initiatives, Banerjee noted that Nabadwip has been declared a Heritage Town, recognising its cultural and spiritual importance. She also pointed to the construction of multiple bridges aimed at improving regional connectivity and boosting economic activity. The Chief Minister highlighted the establishment of a super speciality hospital to provide advanced healthcare services to residents, along with significant upgrades to road infrastructure, making transportation more efficient and accessible. Focusing on youth empowerment, she mentioned the setting up of an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) to equip young people with essential skills and enhance employment opportunities. She also cited effective flood prevention measures implemented to safeguard lives and livelihoods in flood-prone areas. Additionally,Mamata Banerjee emphasised the creation of Tant Haats to support local weavers and preserve Bengal’s rich textile heritage. In her address, she asserted that the Maa-Mati-Manush government remains committed to delivering tangible results on the ground, distinguishing its governance model from mere promises.
