Mamata Banerjee Targets BJP, Urges Bengal Voters to Back TMC Candidates in Strong Political Message

By Editorial Team 👁 37
West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee launched a sharp political attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, asserting that the people of West Bengal have already made up their minds against what she described as “falsehoods” and “smear campaigns.” Referring to regions like North 24 Parganas and Nadia, Banerjee claimed that the public sentiment is firmly in favour of her party and that the people will not be intimidated. She accused “Bangla-Birodhi forces” of harassing and undermining the dignity and democratic rights of citizens, alleging misuse of processes to target the state’s population. In her message, Banerjee framed the political contest as a broader fight to protect the identity of Bengal and uphold the Constitution envisioned by B. R. Ambedkar. She called it a decisive battle against divisive and discriminatory politics, emphasizing unity across caste, creed, class, and religion. The Chief Minister also appealed to voters to support TMC candidates across key constituencies, urging them to vote for the party’s “Joraphool” symbol. She stated that every vote for the party represents a commitment to development, dignity, and a strong, united Bengal.
