Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya felicitates India's CWG 2026 medal-winning weightlifters, boxers, judokas and para-athletes.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya felicitated India's medal-winning weightlifters, boxers, judokas, and para-athletes upon their return from the Commonwealth Games 2026 (CWG 2026).

During the felicitation ceremony, Dr. Mandaviya congratulated the athletes for their outstanding performances and applauded their dedication in bringing glory to the nation on the international stage.

The Union Minister also announced cash rewards for the medallists, with ₹30 lakh for each gold medal winner, ₹20 lakh for each silver medallist, and ₹10 lakh for each bronze medallist. The gesture recognizes the athletes' achievements and the government's continued commitment to supporting Indian sportspersons.

The ceremony celebrated India's successful campaign at CWG 2026 and reaffirmed the government's focus on encouraging excellence across Olympic and Paralympic sports.
