Md Salim addressed a press conference on Friday where he mocked Trinamool Congress leaders for not being able to move without police. He said,”If police is not there Trinamool Congress leader are unable to walk on the roads. The way they are doing violence, people can’t tolerate anymore”.
He added,” Women are being beaten up. Youths are being attacked. Yesterday it was a peaceful protest but police lathi charged unnecessarily. It was pre planned to assault the youths of the state.”
