CPIM leader Md Salim addressed a press conference on Thursday after leftist youth were dispersed by lathi charge.
He said,” This was a pre planned activity. But Police beat them with Lathi Charge and water gun. This was a peaceful protest. Did Mamata Banerjee afraid of the youth’s whom Mamata Banerjee cheated. Police is stopping women, part time teachers who are protesting. The water used by them was mixed with Bleaching Powder. Expired year gas were used intentionally. They lathi charged without any reason and without any warning”.
