Mohan Bhagwat Says Humanity Is One, Truth Has Many Paths
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat highlighted the idea of universal humanity and the unity of truth while speaking at the “One World One Humanity” event in New York.
Bhagwat said that while he is neither a religious scholar nor a religious authority, he works within a society that has traditionally upheld the belief that religions may be different, but humanity is one.
“Truth is one, and humanity is a product of that truth. So humanity is one,” Bhagwat said.
He further explained that the same truth can be described in different ways depending on the person describing it. According to Bhagwat, human beings are influenced by the “software” created in their minds, shaping how they perceive and interpret reality.
His remarks at the New York event focused on unity amid diversity, shared humanity and the possibility of understanding different perspectives despite differences in religious and cultural traditions.
