Toxic Box Office Collection Crosses ₹165 Crore in Three Days
Toxic Box Office Collection has crossed the ₹150 crore mark in India within its first three days, delivering a strong performance at the domestic box office. The period gangster action thriller, headlined by Yash, has collected an estimated ₹165.95 crore net in India so far.
The film's total gross collection stands at approximately ₹195.83 crore, according to the figures available so far.
Despite recording a drop on its third day, Toxic has maintained a strong pace and is now approaching the ₹200 crore milestone.
Toxic Day 3 Box Office Collection
On its first Friday, which marked Day 3 of its theatrical run, Toxic reportedly earned ₹27.20 crore net at the Indian box office.
The Day 3 collection represented a decline of around 27.75% compared with Day 2, when the film collected approximately ₹37.65 crore net.
A stronger increase had been expected on the Raksha Bandhan holiday, but the film did not witness the anticipated jump in collections.
Nevertheless, the overall performance has remained significant, with the movie comfortably crossing the ₹150 crore net mark.
Toxic Total Collection After Three Days
After three days, the estimated domestic figures for Toxic stand at:
Day 1: ₹101.10 crore net
Day 2: ₹37.65 crore net
Day 3: ₹27.20 crore net
Total: ₹165.95 crore net
India Gross: ₹195.83 crore
The film's ability to cross ₹150 crore net within three days places it among the biggest Kannada-language box office performers.
Toxic Becomes Fifth Kannada Film to Cross ₹150 Crore
With its domestic net collection reaching ₹165.95 crore, Toxic has reportedly become the fifth Kannada film to cross the ₹150 crore mark in India.
The film has joined an elite group that includes some of the biggest successes in Kannada cinema.
The list comprises:
KGF: Chapter 1
KGF: Chapter 2
Kantara
Kantara: Chapter 1
Toxic
The milestone underlines the growing reach of Kannada cinema and the strong theatrical response to major Kannada productions.
Toxic Eyes ₹200 Crore Milestone
Following its ₹165.95 crore net collection after three days, Toxic is now moving towards the ₹200 crore milestone.
If the film maintains its momentum over the next couple of days, it could reach the landmark quickly.
Crossing ₹200 crore in domestic net collections would further strengthen the film's position among the highest-grossing Kannada movies in India.
The coming days will therefore be crucial in determining how high Toxic can climb on the domestic box office charts.
Toxic Set to Surpass KGF Chapter 1
The latest box office figures also indicate that Toxic is on course to move up another position in the rankings.
With ₹165.95 crore net already collected, the film is currently placed as the fifth-highest-grossing Kannada film in India.
On Day 4, Toxic is expected to surpass the domestic collection of KGF: Chapter 1. If that happens, the Yash-starrer will move into fourth place among the highest-grossing Kannada films in India.
The development is particularly notable because Yash is once again leading a major Kannada production after the enormous success of the KGF franchise.
Kantara Collection Remains a Bigger Target
While Toxic is expected to overtake KGF: Chapter 1, reaching the collection level of Kantara could prove considerably more challenging.
Kantara reportedly finished with an India net collection of around ₹309.64 crore, putting it well ahead of Toxic's current total.
With the film currently at ₹165.95 crore net, a significant sustained run would be required for it to approach that figure.
For now, the immediate targets for Toxic are the ₹200 crore milestone and a move into the fourth position among the highest-grossing Kannada films.
