ICC has launched the official campaign film ‘Out of this World’ to mark the official beginning of the 100-day countdown of the event. The film features T20 well-loved players Quinton de Kock, Kieron Pollard, Ali Khan, Marcus Stoinis, Shaheen Afridi, and Shubman Gill.
It showcases the various locations of where the T20 World Cup games will be played in the West Indies and USA, and captures well the excitement surrounding the tournament.
There are just 100 days remaining until the much-anticipated event. It will unfold from June 1 and run through till June 29.
The remaining tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA will now be available on general sale.
There was unprecedented demand for the ballot tickets that went live on February 1 and the general tickets for the event are available from February 22, 10 AM Antigua Standard Time on the official T20 website.
During the ballot period, ICC received over 3 million ticket applications from over 161 countries! Tickets are currently unavailable to all T20 World Cup matches scheduled in the USA, with the India vs Pakistan fixture on June 9 in New York oversubscribed more than 200 times!
Both the semi-final matches in Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana along with the Final to be held in Barbados were also oversubscribed in the ballot. Tickets for the other fixtures in the West Indies will now be up for grabs in the general sale.

On the occasion of the launch of the general sale and the official film launch, ICC Chief Executive, Geoff Allardice, said, “With just 100 days to go until the start of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 there is huge anticipation from fans to witness what will be the largest ICC event ever played, with 20 international teams playing across nine host cities.”
“Celebrating the launch of our official campaign film that captures the energy of T20 cricket, and features some of the game’s biggest stars is another important milestone, as excitement builds across the global cricket community for what will be a historic event,” he added.
Cricket West Indies Chief Executive, Johnny Grave, also expressed delight over the significant demand for tickets, “With just 100 days to go until the start of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, the global excitement is accelerating at pace. All signs indicate that this World Cup is poised to make history on multiple fronts. With a significant number of games already oversubscribed, it is evident that the global appeal of T20 cricket is growing exponentially,” he stated.
T20 World Cup USA, Inc. Chief Executive, Brett Jones, spoke about the growing popularity of cricket in the US market. “Today is an extraordinary day for global cricket, and that’s especially true in the U.S. While those of us involved in the sport know cricket’s popularity in our market, there is no data point like ticket sales to showcase the level of enthusiasm that’s out there and we’re thrilled with the support we’re seeing.
