Union Minister Piyush Goyal held a meeting with Tatsuo Yasunaga, Representative Director and Chair of the Board of Directors at Mitsui & Co., to discuss opportunities to further deepen India-Japan cooperation.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration across trade, energy and infrastructure, with Goyal emphasising India’s commitment to building stronger partnerships with leading Japanese trading houses.

Goyal highlighted the importance of deeper economic and commercial ties between India and Japan to advance shared growth and prosperity.

The meeting comes as India continues to expand opportunities for Japanese companies and investors across key sectors of the economy.
